Our company is a leading, international provider of private higher education. consists of numerous privately owned schools, education facilities, business units, miscellaneous branches and departments in multiple countries, such as France, Germany, Italy, UK, Norway, Cyprus, Senegal and Mexico and beyond.

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications to meet business needs, enhancing our new Student Information Solution based on Salesforce framework, and improving user experience within the Salesforce platform.



Your new role


• Custom Application Development: Create custom applications tailored to the organization’s unique needs using Apex and Visualforce. Embrace the functional aspect of the project to support the specification phase (business domains within higher Education)
• Database Management: Design data models, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Integration: Build and maintain integrations with third-party services using REST and SOAP APIs.
• System Configuration: Configure Salesforce settings and features, manage user roles and permissions, and set up workflows and validation rules (supporting our Business analyst in this exercise).
• Manage all development environments and the deployment process up to production.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Act as the first line for issues, debug code, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system operation.


What you'll need to succeed


• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and security.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ready to embark on a niche field that is higher education, where the notion of service and experience is paramount.
• Communication and interpersonal skills: listening to the client, working in cross-functional teams, good communication skills (verbal and written).
• and proven team spirit.
• Service-oriented and autonomy: responsiveness to client requests, flexibility, versatility, daily proactivity
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Autonomy, resilience, thirst for learning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Salesforce Developer certification.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe.
• Familiarity with higher education systems and processes is a plus.
